We at WebDev2.0 would like to wish you a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
So here at Webdev2.0 we try to post a wide variety of sites for our users. We want to make sure we find the best sites for our readers and want to make sure that every reader that comes across the site can find a site that is more useful to them on their everyday tasks. While you may not find a new site every day, we hope that we can build a large enough directory where you can find a small group of sites that you would otherwise never use.
Last week the transition to a new server for this site was complete. It is now being hosted by Own3DOutput in a colo in Oakland, CA. Hopefully we’ll see very little downtime on the site and much speedier transfer rates. I think it has been going fairly well so far. Feel free to leave any feedback regarding the setup. Thanks.
So we haven’t been posting on a regular basis as we should have. We apologize to our readers. It won’t happen again, or at least we’ll try to keep posting as frequently as possible. If you have any sites to submit as always feel free.
WebDev2.0 started in October of 2006, but has accumulated over 300 sites in the directory over the three month period. Within that period we’ve had hundreds of visitors, and it’s our honor to present to you our Top 10 WebDev2.0 Sites of 2006.

If you haven’t had a chance, make sure you check them out.
We at WebDev2.0 hope you had a great Christmas and would like to take the time to wish you a Happy Holidays. We hope you have a great time going into the New Year. We apologize for not as many posts over the break, but we will pick them back up now and into the New Year. Thanks for reading.
Digg.com has released a new web design for their website today. The new interface allows for better screen real estate for those using widescreen monitors. Also there is a new top 10 section, video enhancements, podcasting, and new features for profiles. Make sure to check it out.
Last week we updated the header and we’re pretty happy with how it turned out. Today we updated the “other sites filed under” sections on each site description page. It adds a small icon as well as comment and view information. Let us know what you think and if you have any suggestions on improving the site. As always feel free to submit new sites to the directory for review. Thanks.
We have decided to reduce the font size back to the way it was before the test. We didn’t get too much feedback and we happen to like the old font size better. We didn’t feel like we needed to do this to just be trendy.
For those of you that celebrate Thanksgiving, WebDev2.0 would like to wish you a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
